An Original Poem
His objective is clear
Now he waits on the launchpad
Ready to take off
Into the brave new world
That lies before him
He anxiously plans
Thinking of every possibility
Deciding which will bring success
He's unsure what this new world
Will bring him
But he knows he must find out
This new world holds infinite possibilities
Beyond anything earth can offer
Its harvest's are bountiful
And its resources are abundant
But are they just hiding something darker
Something dangerous and threatening
Only he can find out
It is his actions alone
That will let the world know
If it is safe to stray
Beyond earths bounds
Into a world of infinity
